City of Sunderland College has created greater choice and diversity for
its sixteen to nineteen year old students, and for the young people of
Sunderland and its surrounding areas.
For those who prefer a sixth form
environment, the College has established four
Sixth Form Colleges,
Bede Sixth Form Academy
for those living in south Sunderland, Usworth Sixth Form College
for those living in west Sunderland ( particularly Washington
and Gateshead ),
St. Peter’s Sixth Form College
for those living in north Sunderland and South Tyneside and The Headways Sixth
Form Centre for those in the Hetton, Houghton, Seaham and Easington
areas.
So if you want to combine award winning study with a great social scene in a sixth
form Bede, Usworth, St. Peter's or Headways
are your next step.
Vibrant, modern and full of life, the four sixth forms are bursting with fun
and have an atmosphere second to none, offering top class teaching, tremendous
support services and state-of-the-art facilities. This combination offers
all students the recipe to get the best possible start in life.
For those who would prefer a more adult environment, the College has continued to
run courses for young people at its Shiney Row and Hylton Skills
Campuses.
The Hylton Skills Campus runs courses in Catering, Construction, Motor Vehicle and Hair &
Beauty. The Shiney Row
campus runs courses in Art & Design, Engineering, Hair
& Beauty and Performing Arts.
