Test the City is a program to help get Sunderland qualified in Level 2 English and Maths to the equivalent of a GCSE.

All it takes is three simple steps:

• Complete a short assessment to help find your starting point
• Take a practice test to help get ready for the real thing
• When you feel ready, take the real test

The tests are free for most people and are a great way to improve your career prospects, boost your confidence and help prepare you for access to higher education courses.

You can take the tests at two different levels with Level 1 the equivalent to a D-G grade in GCSE or NVQ level 1 and Level 2 the equivalent level to an A*- C grade in GCSE or NVQ Level 2.
