Hylton Campus

Hylton Campus is the main home for our vocational courses situated on the North side of the River Wear. It offers our students valuable real life learning facilities for a range of industries including construction, green technology, hospitality and catering, hair and beauty and motor vehicle.

The centre features The Lounge Bistro and Bar, one of the UK’s top training restaurants, as well as Visage – a fully working hair and beauty salon and purpose built construction facilities. It’s also the focus of our low carbon initiatives with a motor vehicle department and award winning Renewable Energy Centre that are at the forefront of low carbon and environmentally friendly industry training.

Hylton also has an on-site nursery, Bluesquare Childcare, providing heavily subsidised childcare places for most of our students.

Bus Routes
Hylton Campus has a bus stop at the gates where the number 3, 4, 13, 26 and 56 bus routes stop.
