Welcome to City of Sunderland College…

Welcome to our new look website. We are extremely proud of who we are and what we do and hope that this website highlights the exciting things that we have to offer. We have had great success at shaping and developing lives, communities and the economy through learning – this is something we have extended beyond Sunderland and the surrounding areas as our reputation as a world class provider of education has led us to deliver education not only throughout England, but Vietnam, Myanmar, China and many other countries.

Some Facts and Figures

We strive for our students to achieve their goals, raise their aspirations and be who they want to be. Last academic year we achieved an overall 99% pass rate for A-level subjects, the highest in the City, with 21 subjects achieving a 100% pass rate. For our BTEC National Diplomas, we achieved a 100% pass rate in 15 out of 16 subjects. Last October, 665 of our students went on to study at university. This is matched by our outstanding results on our HE programmes as well as a glowing inspection report.

We hope you join us soon.
